Basic Logical Information For Data Recovery

1) BIT AND BYTE

Bytes and bits are the starting point of the computer world. In this session of Basic Information and Logical Values, we will be discussing bit and byte, the representation of bit and byte in different number systems, and the difference between the two. Let’s Find out about the Base-2 system 8-bit bytes, the ASCII character set, byte prefixes, and binary math.

2) SATA AND PATA(IDE)

In storage devices, there are two different types of connection interfaces. Parallel ATA and Serial ATA. Both of them connect storage devices to the computer system and other devices. PATA connections were used in the old generation computers but the SATA is a new standard that comes in all new computers. In this data recovery training session, we will discuss the connection interface of the hard disk and will learn about the type of connection interface used in hard disk and optical drives and their features.

3) TRACK , SECTOR AND CLUSTER

The Hard disk has a circular disk which is called a Platter. Every hard disk contains one or more platters on which the data is stored. The platter is mounted on the spindle motor in the hard disk. The platter in the hard disk is divided into track sectors and clusters. In this session of Basic Information and Logical Value, we will discuss track, sector, and cluster, magnetic data storage methods, and ways to distribute the data into Track, Sectors, and Clusters.

4) BIOS AND UEFI

In this session of Basic Information and Logical Values, we will be discussing BIOS and UEFI.So far, we used to work with traditional BIOS which was present in the old systems. But now, the new systems are being introduced with UEFI features. A lot of people are already working with the UEFI systems, though most are unaware of the features and benefits of their UEFI systems. In this session, we will learn about BIOS and UEFI features, the benefit of the UEFI system and the reason behind BIOS being replaced by UEFI.

5) BASIC AND DYNAMIC DISK

In the Windows operating system, we can configure the hard disk with two types. First is the Basic Disk Configuration and the second is the Dynamic Disk Configuration. In disk management, we can check the hard disk configuration style. In this session of Basic Information and Logical Values, we will be discussing Basic and Dynamic Disk and will learn what is a basic and dynamic disk, how to convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk, and how to configure them.
