2) SATA AND PATA(IDE)

In storage devices, there are two different types of connection interfaces. Parallel ATA and Serial ATA. Both of them connect storage devices to the computer system and other devices. PATA connections were used in the old generation computers but the SATA is a new standard that comes in all new computers. The Hard disk has a circular disk which is called a Platter. Every hard disk contains one or more platters on which the data is stored. The platter is mounted on the spindle motor in the hard disk. The platter in the hard disk is divided into track sectors and clusters. 4) BIOS AND UEFI

In this session of Basic Information and Logical Values, we will be discussing BIOS and UEFI.So far, we used to work with traditional BIOS which was present in the old systems.
